The story

The 15 Libreria is a modular bookcase from the Drop 02 collection by Interni Venosta, designed by Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran.

The structure consists of three interconnected sections built around a warm brown wood frame with distinctive vertical slotted uprights. Horizontal chrome-plated metal rods span the interior, supporting a combination of adjustable clear and dark glass shelves alongside solid wooden panels. The system is open in character, display zones balancing transparency and opacity across the full width of the piece.

The material combination follows Interni Venosta's established approach: warm wood and polished chrome, each material legible on its own terms. The slotted uprights reference the Bauhaus tradition of modular, adjustable storage, updated through the quality of finish and material.

Within the Drop 02 collection, the 15 Libreria represents the storage category. Produced by Fabbri Services in Arezzo, Tuscany, it is handcrafted with the same attention to material quality shared across all Interni Venosta pieces.

About Interni Venosta
Interni Venosta

Interni Venosta was founded in 2024 by Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran, the duo behind Dimorestudio and Dimoremilano. The brand name pays homage to Carla Venosta, the Italian designer who shaped Milanese interiors in the 1970s and 1980s, not as a revival of her work but as a citation of the culture she stood for: sobriety, material rigor, and modernist thought fused with classical Italian sensibility.

The design language draws from a narrow set of references: the Bauhaus movement, particularly the structural thinking of Marcel Breuer and Gerrit Rietveld, and the minimalist American sculptors Donald Judd, Carl Andre, and Walter de Maria. Furniture stays within a limited palette of glass, brushed or black-lacquered stainless steel, walnut, lacquered wood, and leather. Within those constraints, the focus shifts entirely to proportion and finish.
