The story
The 14 Pouf M is a low-profile square ottoman from the Drop 02 collection by Interni Venosta, designed by Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran.
A black textile cushion sits recessed within a layered frame that reads as an exercise in material contrast. The outer frame presents a light grey textured surface, close in character to raw concrete or rough-cut stone. Beneath it, a warm golden-toned inner frame completes the composition with a note of quiet luxury.
The piece is legible from above as much as from the side: the concentric layering of textures and tones, grey to gold to black, frames the dark cushion as a contained element within a structured field. The materiality is precise and the proportions are tight.
Within Drop 02, the 14 Pouf M sits alongside the 10 Pouf and the broader seating range. Produced by Fabbri Services in Arezzo, Tuscany, it reflects Interni Venosta's approach to accessory design as a direct continuation of the same formal vocabulary as the larger furniture pieces.
About Interni Venosta

Interni Venosta was founded in 2024 by Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran, the duo behind Dimorestudio and Dimoremilano. The brand name pays homage to Carla Venosta, the Italian designer who shaped Milanese interiors in the 1970s and 1980s, not as a revival of her work but as a citation of the culture she stood for: sobriety, material rigor, and modernist thought fused with classical Italian sensibility.
The design language draws from a narrow set of references: the Bauhaus movement, particularly the structural thinking of Marcel Breuer and Gerrit Rietveld, and the minimalist American sculptors Donald Judd, Carl Andre, and Walter de Maria. Furniture stays within a limited palette of glass, brushed or black-lacquered stainless steel, walnut, lacquered wood, and leather. Within those constraints, the focus shifts entirely to proportion and finish.
