The story
The 2093 Bed is a platform bed from Garance Vallée's 2093 collection, built in dark brown wood with silver metal trim, an extended headboard incorporating recessed mirror or glass panels, and an integrated side table.
The profile is low. The extended headboard runs beyond the bed's width to include a side table section, creating a horizontal plane that anchors the piece to the wall. Mirror or glass panels recessed into the headboard catch and return light, breaking the dark wood surface with reflective insets that echo the mirrored panels of the 2093 Side Table.
A shaggy beige faux fur textile covers the mattress area, its light tone and tactile softness set against the dark, geometric precision of the frame. This opposition between warm textile and architectural structure runs across the 2093 collection's seating range and continues here at bedroom scale.
The 2093 collection by Garance Vallée applies a consistent formal logic across furniture categories. The bed carries the series' material palette and geometric language into the bedroom, completing the collection as a coherent domestic environment.
About Garance Vallée

Born in 1993, Garance Vallée is a French multidisciplinary designer, artist, and architect based in Paris. Her practice spans furniture, sculpture, installation, painting, and scenography. She works across these disciplines without hierarchy, always returning to the same question: how does a body inhabit space, and how can an object resist reduction to pure function?
Trained in architecture, Vallée builds her pieces with artisans, stonemasons and metalworkers, whose traces remain visible in the finished object. Natural pigments, raw concrete, warm-toned plaster, wood, and metal form a material vocabulary that is organic without being decorative, shaped by texture and physical presence. The studio combines hand sketching and scale models with hands-on production, making craftsmanship visible rather than polished away.
