The story
The Hashtag Table Lamp is a table lamp from Fabrice Juan's Dolci collection, with a plaster base and a tapered cotton shade.
Three vertical channels are cut into the base's rectangular plaster body, running its full height. This is the "Hashtag": not a social media reference but a graphic logic, a three-part vertical grid that gives the plain column its character. The plaster is neither smooth nor rough; its surface falls between hand-finished and architectural, the material's own texture doing the decorative work.
A small brass connector joins base to shade. The detail is minor but exact: a warm metal joint at the meeting point of two natural materials, the kind of precision that distinguishes a considered object from a produced one.
The cotton shade is tapered and off-white, its subtle texture diffusing light evenly. Plaster and cotton together give the lamp a warmth that harder material combinations cannot replicate. Available at Monde Singulier.
