The story
The Stamp Round Pendant Lamp by Christophe Perichon suspends from a thin wire, bringing the Stamp collection's signature material language to ceiling-mounted light. Developed exclusively for Monde Singulier, it is available as a signed, numbered edition.
The form is a study in geometric contrast: a slender cylindrical column in orange leather drops directly into a broad, flat circular shade of the same material, white contrast stitching tracing both the cylinder's length and the shade's circumference. Suspended on a single wire, the assembly reads as lightweight despite the visual mass of the disc.
The leather surface carries the same hand-stitching vocabulary found across the Stamp collection, where Christophe Perichon consistently works warm, worked leather against the cold precision of stainless steel armature. In this pendant lamp, the flat disc shade diffuses light around the leather rather than fully enclosing it, so the material and the light remain in conversation.
Each piece carries a serial number and certificate of authenticity.
About Christophe Perichon
Christophe Perichon is a furniture designer and interior architect based in Versailles, France. Over more than twenty years of practice, his studio has worked across residential and hospitality projects, developing an approach rooted in material contrast.
His work rests on a tension between stainless steel and leather. Rather than treating them as opposing forces, Périchon builds each piece to hold both in structural balance, so a single object reads as architectural precision and tactile warmth at once. The stainless steel carries a kaleidoscopic depth, its reflective surfaces multiplying light and extending perceived space; the leather grounds that optical play with physical weight and grain. The result resists easy classification, neither purely decorative nor purely functional.
Delivery
Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
