The story
The Stamp Pendant Lamp by Christophe Perichon takes an angular departure from the collection's predominantly round forms. An L-shaped suspended panel in orange textile, it is part of the Stamp collection developed exclusively for Monde Singulier, available as a signed, numbered edition.
The piece comprises two flat planes: a horizontal surface and an upright back section meeting at a right angle, the whole structure suspended by two thin wires. White stitching runs along the edges and down a central vertical line on the back panel, marking the construction and adding graphic articulation to an otherwise minimal form. The silhouette is slender and unusually linear for a pendant light.
The textile surface is the key distinction within the Stamp collection. Where most pieces use leather over stainless steel armature, this pendant lamp works with a woven textile, bringing a different material register to Christophe Perichon's ongoing exploration of surface, warmth, and light. The L-form itself echoes the collection's interest in architectural geometry applied to domestic objects.
Each piece carries a serial number and certificate of authenticity.
About Christophe Perichon
Christophe Perichon is a furniture designer and interior architect based in Versailles, France. Over more than twenty years of practice, his studio has worked across residential and hospitality projects, developing an approach rooted in material contrast.
His work rests on a tension between stainless steel and leather. Rather than treating them as opposing forces, Périchon builds each piece to hold both in structural balance, so a single object reads as architectural precision and tactile warmth at once. The stainless steel carries a kaleidoscopic depth, its reflective surfaces multiplying light and extending perceived space; the leather grounds that optical play with physical weight and grain. The result resists easy classification, neither purely decorative nor purely functional.
Delivery
Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
