The story
The Stamp Floor Lamp by Christophe Perichon is part of the Stamp collection, developed exclusively for Monde Singulier and available as a signed, numbered edition.
The base takes the form of an upward-tapering cone in orange-brown leather, the surface articulated with white contrast stitching that follows the vertical seams by hand. A flat white circular cap crowns the structure, producing a silhouette that reads as architectural object before it reads as light source. The proportions are deliberately compact for a floor lamp, positioning the light closer to the surrounding furniture rather than overhead.
Stainless steel forms the internal armature of every piece in the Stamp collection. Here the leather sheathing transforms what could be a purely functional stand into a sculptural volume, one that sustains the collection's recurring dialogue between cold industrial material and warm, worked leather.
Each piece in the Stamp collection carries a serial number and certificate of authenticity.
About Christophe Perichon
Christophe Perichon is a furniture designer and interior architect based in Versailles, France. Over more than twenty years of practice, his studio has worked across residential and hospitality projects, developing an approach rooted in material contrast.
His work rests on a tension between stainless steel and leather. Rather than treating them as opposing forces, Périchon builds each piece to hold both in structural balance, so a single object reads as architectural precision and tactile warmth at once. The stainless steel carries a kaleidoscopic depth, its reflective surfaces multiplying light and extending perceived space; the leather grounds that optical play with physical weight and grain. The result resists easy classification, neither purely decorative nor purely functional.
Delivery
Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
