The story
The Flip Small Console is a sculptural padauk and oak console table from the Antoine Maurice Collection.
A single curved pedestal, with a profile that bends like a stylized figure-7, holds an elongated top. Antoine Maurice worked padauk and French oak in alternating horizontal stripes: the reddish-orange warmth of padauk runs alongside the pale grain of oak, a material contrast that defines the piece.
Made in France. Limited edition.
About Antoine Maurice
Born in the early 1990s, Antoine Maurice lives and works in the Yvelines, France.
A self-taught artist, he founded his studio to develop his own approach to design, which blends functional objects and art.
