The story
The Flip Console is an oak and walnut console table from the Antoine Maurice Collection, distinguished by an organically twisted base in alternating grain stripes.
The wide flat top rests on a base that twists and expands downward in a wave-like silhouette. Antoine Maurice combined oak and walnut in alternating horizontal bands, so the two species are simultaneously visible as both structure and pattern. The form is a geological wave, and the name Flip points to the rotational quality of how it arrived at that shape.
Made in France. Limited edition.
