The story
The Corcovado Lighted Console is a sculptural beech console with integrated lighting from the Antoine Maurice Collection.
A near-black beech stem rises in a serpentine curve from a wide base to support an elliptical top. The white sphere set flush into the surface is the light source, absorbed into the form. The Corcovado is console and lamp at once, neither function subordinate to the other.
Made in France. Limited edition.
