The story
The AR11 ESE is a chaise lounge from the Amare Collection, built around a flowing S-curve silhouette. The base is dark and heavily textured, worked from distressed material that carries the marks of the process. A light beige textile runs across the length of the piece, covering both the raised back section and the seat, sitting in measured contrast to the rough base below.
The proportions are contemporary and low to the ground. The elevated back offers a gentle recline; the seat transitions without interruption into the leg rest. The overall line is fluid, the structure deliberate.
Amare founder Bertille Achard de la Vente established the label to explore the meeting point between minimalism and brutalism. The AR11 ESE holds that ground: there is nothing added to the form that the material does not demand. The texture speaks. The silhouette moves. The textile pulls the eye from dark to pale.

About Amare
AMARE is an Italian design studio founded by Bertille Achard de la Vente. Based in Tuscany, the studio makes furniture at the intersection of minimalism and brutalism, drawing on the particular stones, woods, and metals of the region.
Achard de la Vente established AMARE around a single premise: that raw material deserves to be the subject of a piece, not its backdrop. Each object in the Amare Collection is designed to make the source material visible. The wood is distressed rather than smoothed. The stone carries its veining without intervention. The steel ages rather than being sealed. Nothing is mediated away from what the original material was.
Delivery
Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
