The story
The AR09 ESE is a single pendant light from the Amare Collection. Its form is built around a trio of octagonal volumes: two flanking pillars and a wider, more intricately faceted central segment. The surface is a light beige textured material, cast and mould-formed, with a finish that reads as composite stone or concrete aggregate.
The pendant hangs from a slender metal wire, which emphasizes the verticality of the piece rather than its ceiling attachment. At any given moment, the facets catch or shed light differently, making the object seem to shift in weight and depth across the day.
Bertille Achard de la Vente designed the Amare Collection in Italy, drawing on Tuscan materials and the region's tradition of working stone in ways that preserve the character of the source material. The AR09 ESE applies that sensibility to light: an architectural pendant that brings sculptural volume to the ceiling plane.

About Amare
AMARE is an Italian design studio founded by Bertille Achard de la Vente. Based in Tuscany, the studio makes furniture at the intersection of minimalism and brutalism, drawing on the particular stones, woods, and metals of the region.
Achard de la Vente established AMARE around a single premise: that raw material deserves to be the subject of a piece, not its backdrop. Each object in the Amare Collection is designed to make the source material visible. The wood is distressed rather than smoothed. The stone carries its veining without intervention. The steel ages rather than being sealed. Nothing is mediated away from what the original material was.
Delivery
Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
