The PAPARITMO two-seat sofa is the compact sofa in Studio ASAÏ's debut collection, applying the collection's formal vocabulary at a more intimate scale.
The piece sits low with a pronounced horizontal presence. Its most distinctive element is the armrests, which curve outward and downward in a movement that is both ergonomic and sculptural, finished with a small brass-coloured accent. The broad seat and high armrests create an enveloping posture without bulk.
The sofa is upholstered throughout in a light beige corduroy textile, its vertical ribbing creating a consistent tactile surface across the seat, back, and arms. Subtle piping delineates the surfaces. A beechwood base runs the perimeter of the piece, visible and grounding.
Part of a five-piece seating family, the two-seat PAPARITMO sofa represents Antoine Simonin's first furniture collection, bringing the non-style philosophy of STUDIO ASAÏ into the domestic register. AD 100-recognised, the studio has worked across private residences, luxury hotels, and exhibition spaces since 2014. Available through Monde Singulier.
