The PAPARITMO armchair is Studio ASAÏ's first foray into furniture design, translating Antoine Simonin's interior architecture practice into a freestanding object.

Its form is substantial and boxy, set close to the ground, with generously rounded edges that soften the silhouette without losing architectural presence. Wide arms and a low back create a posture that is both enveloping and composed. A single circular brass detail on the outer arm is the piece's only ornamental note.

The chair is upholstered throughout in a light beige ribbed textile, its vertical corduroy-like channelling visible across the arms, back, and seat. Subtle piping traces the contours of each surface, giving the geometry definition without decoration. A solid beechwood base completes the piece.

PAPARITMO is part of a five-piece collection extending Simonin's non-style approach to domestic seating. Studio ASAÏ, recognised by the AD 100, has worked across private residences, luxury hotels, and exhibition design since 2014. Available through Monde Singulier.
