Francesco Balzano

Francesco Balzano is a designer based in Paris, laureate at the French Academy in Rome, selected by Villa Medici and the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation in 2025. His research work is a permanent tribute to the beauty of timeless things. Simplicity is used as the ultimate sophistication, mixing noble materials, purity of lines and the essential functions of everyday life.

The designer makes custom and limited edition pieces for art and design galleries around the world.

Francesco Balzano is also the founder of the design studio Sattio, of the interior design studio After Bach, and of Sogno Studio as an artist photographer. He has been recognized as part of the AD100 best designers in France for consecutive years.
