Tara

Tara is Karouna Chanyudhakorn's lamp collection built around a hands-led process. No sketch precedes the form. The pieces take shape as she works, guided by movement and intuition.

Karouna trained at Philippe Starck's studio and specializes in FF&E with a focus on lighting. She considers light a metaphor for life: not decoration, but the element that defines a space. That conviction is embedded in the material choices here.

The Tara table lamp has a conical shade woven from natural raffia and a base cast in solid bronze with an organic, undulating form. The raffia is light, fibrous, warm. The bronze base weighs five kilograms. That tension between the organic and the mineral is the structural idea behind the collection.
