About the collection
Maison Pierre Favresse Collection brings together four distinct design grammars in an exclusive at Monde Singulier: Arlo, Butterfly, Tortoise and Moone.
Pierre Favresse trained at École Boulle, then ENSAD Paris, before working in creative direction at Mathieu Lehanneur and Habitat. His practice rests on a constant dialogue between hand and matter, precision of line, honesty of material. The Tortoise Table is the most concrete expression of that craft: its surface is built by a French atelier certified Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant, layers of lacquer applied by hand in tortoiseshell amber tones. Moone arrives in 225 kilograms of Italian terrazzo on steel, architectural in scale. Arlo and Butterfly complete the range in lacquered beech and fiberglass, one legible in structure, the other enveloping in form.
