The Plinth Pedestal occupies a room the way a column does. The octagonal shaft in sand-blasted tinted oak rises vertically to a travertine top; at the base, a scalloped flared foot broadens the silhouette into something closer to architectural moulding than a furniture leg. Designed by Emre Yunus Uzun, the piece functions as a vertical accent and display surface, placing an object and the space around it in equal relation.
