The Trillith Side Table is organized around a round travertine top and two cylindrical bases built from stacked stone segments. The geometry is strict and symmetrical: two upright columns of travertine, each formed by horizontal layers of stone placed one above another, support a circular top of the same material.
The stacked construction of the bases is the formal proposition of the piece. Each cylinder is composed from segments of light beige travertine whose natural stratification echoes the constructive logic of the object itself. Subtle metallic accents at the junction between top and bases provide a visual break and material contrast without disrupting the monolithic reading of the whole.
Within the ATRA 2100 collection, the Trillith is the counterpoint to the Geometrik side table. Where the Geometrik works with asymmetric intersecting panels, the Trillith operates on symmetry and accumulation. Both use travertine and metallic accents; each makes a different argument about how stone can carry a form. Alexander Díaz Andersson designed both pieces from his Mexico City studio, where formal variation within material consistency defines the ATRA approach.
