L'histoire
A beautiful piece of design, this pair of two-tier end tables or side tables will be the focal point of your living room. Symmetrical brass and chrome elements match perfectly with the travertine tops, the result being impressively sleek decorative pieces. Made in Italy for Metalarte in the 1970s and designed by Romeo Rega, it has been fully restored and cleaned, and has been maintained in a very nice vintage condition. Some minor fading on some parts of the chrome, seen on photos.
À propos de Romeo Rega
Romeo Rega was an Italian designer active in the 1970s. His furniture, including coffee tables, dining tables, étagères and trolleys, combines brass, chrome and glass in clean, geometric structures. His work embodies the luxurious modernism of Italian design of the period. Collectors seek his pieces for their quality of execution and the elegant contrast between polished metals and glass.
