Max Ingrand
A pair of model 2240 wall lights by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte, with thick profiled crystal glass panels held in a brass mount. Ingrand, artistic director of Fontana Arte from 1954, made glass the true subject of his lighting.

À propos de Max Ingrand
French glass artist Max Ingrand (1908-1969) was a leading master of stained glass, working on the restoration and renewal of many French churches after the Second World War. From 1954 to the late 1960s he was artistic director of Fontana Arte in Milan, where he designed lamps and furniture in cut, curved and frosted glass. Collectors seek his Fontana Arte lighting, notably the model 2020 floor lamp, with original glass.
