Pierre Guariche (1926-1995) was one of the leading French designers of the 1950s. With Joseph-André Motte and Michel Mortier he founded the Atelier de Recherche Plastique, and his functional, accessible designs were produced by Steiner, Airborne, Les Huchers-Minvielle and Meurop.
