Étienne Fermigier was a French designer trained at the École Boulle and the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs. In 1959 he co-founded the Meubles et Fonction gallery in Paris with Pierre Perrigault, and designed furniture and lighting with pure, functional lines, notably for Monix.
