Alain Douillard

Alain Douillard (1929-2017) was a French sculptor whose work in metal ranges from free standing abstract pieces to more domestic objects. His sculptures are built from cut, welded and assembled iron and steel, with rhythmic, open compositions typical of French postwar abstraction.
