Samuel Accoceberry Collection - Big Scale

The Big Scale is a pendant lamp in alabaster, larger in format than the Scale but sharing the same geometric vocabulary. The increase in volume changes the lamp's relationship with the space around it: at this scale, the alabaster mass becomes a compositional presence rather than a detail, and the warm diffused light it produces covers a wider radius.

At greater dimensions, alabaster's material behavior becomes more visible. The stone's translucency and veining read clearly across a larger surface area. Variations in density produce visible gradients of warmth, from the cooler edges to the deeper glow at the core.

Samuel Accoceberry's work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan. The Big Scale is suited to high-ceilinged spaces, dining rooms, and reception areas where the lamp serves as the room's primary compositional element.
