The Carlotta Desk is a lacquered writing desk in off-white and dark eucalyptus, from the Dolci collection by Fabrice Juan.
The bases carry the design. Each is cut from dark eucalyptus and shaped into interlocking curved voids: two stacked C-forms on one side, a single wide arc on the other. The eucalyptus grain stays visible beneath the finish, the material's natural warmth held in deliberate tension with the geometry above it. What reads first as a structural element becomes something closer to an architectural bracket, a shaped void that gives the piece its character.
The top is off-white lacquer, matte and smooth. The contrast is intentional: warm grain below, cool surface above. Fabrice Juan treats material pairing as a compositional decision, not a decorative one.
Within the Dolci collection, the Carlotta Desk pairs with the Carlotta Bedside Table, sharing the same sculptural vocabulary and the same dark eucalyptus. Both pieces are available at Monde Singulier.
