The Casa Dining Table in its square format is a dining piece by Atelier de Troupe, from the Pedregal Collection.
The tabletop is in dark, reddish-brown wood with a strongly legible grain and a distinctive square-patterned surface texture. The edge is subtly stepped, a detail that gives the thick top a sense of considered depth rather than blunt mass. Two solid rectangular pedestal bases sit centrally under the top, their placement creating balanced and stable proportions.
Where the rectangular Casa Dining Table carries a central tile inlay strip, the square version works with the material integrity of the wood alone, letting the grain pattern and stepped edge carry the visual interest. The form reflects the Pedregal Collection's reference to Mexican modernist architecture: heavy material, clean geometry, and a preference for substance over surface ornament. Made to order in Atelier de Troupe's Los Angeles studio.

About
De Troupe
Gabriel Abraham founded Atelier de Troupe in Los Angeles in 2011, drawing on fifteen years as a production designer for film and television. Born in Switzerland and raised in Aix-en-Provence, Abraham moved to Los Angeles in 1995. His transition into object design began in the Schindler-designed Bubeshko Apartments, where he started building lamps to complement the modernist interior. That origin tells you everything about his approach: the studio conceives each piece like a film set, building atmosphere before committing to form.
The aesthetic draws from Bauhaus minimalism, French Art Deco, and the cinematic design of 1960s Italy. Working with brass, bronze, hand-blown glass, and steel, Abraham produces lighting and furniture made to order in the studio's 4,500-square-foot atelier in West Adams, each piece built by artisans based in Los Angeles.
Signature series such as the Pedregal collection, worked in glazed lava stone and wood inspired by Mexican modernist architecture, and the Empire lighting series, presented at Milan Design Week, illustrate the studio's formal range. Selected as a Rising Talent at Maison&Objet Paris in 2019, Atelier de Troupe has earned recognition across the collectible design field for its luxury handcrafted lighting and furniture.
On Monde Singulier, the studio's pieces are available made to order for collectors drawn to objects where material precision and cinematic atmosphere converge.
