Umbra

The Peonia Ottoman is a cylindrical upholstered piece from the Umbra collection, Le Berre Vevaud's exclusive collaboration with Monde Singulier. Where the Peonia Armchair concentrates the collection's organic vocabulary into a seating form, the Ottoman distils it further: a generous rounded top, four dark spherical legs in wood, nothing more.

The top is upholstered in a speckled grey textile, a fabric that carries texture within a single tone. The speckle adds visual depth without colour, consistent with the Umbra palette's approach to the "jeu d'ombres" (the interplay of light and shadow across neutral tones). Four dark spherical legs in wood grain lift the cylinder with the same visual signature found across all upholstered seating in the Umbra collection.

Raphaël Le Berre and Thomas Vevaud designed the Peonia Ottoman as a companion to the Peonia Armchair, though it holds its own as a standalone accent piece. Each is produced in limited edition, finished by French artisans certified by the Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant. A versatile object scaled for a considered interior.
