The Carlotta Bedside Table is a low nightstand in dark walnut and travertine, from Fabrice Juan's Dolci collection.
Its central feature is an open compartment with a curved interior, finished in a lighter tone than the surrounding walnut body. This is not a drawer or a shelf. It is a sheltered hollow, its curved inner wall softening the otherwise geometric form, the pale interior creating a pause in the darker surface.
The travertine top connects to the walnut body via a thin metal trim, a precise joint that reads as a deliberate material transition rather than a structural necessity. The walnut grain is left visible across the main faces, its natural movement countering any tendency toward coldness.
Designed to pair with the Carlotta Desk, the Carlotta Bedside Table shares the sculptural logic of the Dolci collection: material pairings that create controlled friction, forms that earn their presence. Available at Monde Singulier.
