The Park Nightstand in wood is a hexagonal bedside cabinet from the Lemon Collection, veneered in warm golden-brown burl.
The hexagonal form is the defining move: where most nightstands are rectangular, this one is polygonal, its six faces giving it a presence in the room beyond its compact footprint. The burl veneer wraps the geometry continuously, its irregular figuring contrasting with the precision of the faceted edges.
A single flush door, centered on the front face, opens to interior storage. A subtle dark knob is the only hardware. The restraint is deliberate: Frankental tends to let the material do the work.
Compact and vertical, the Park Nightstand belongs to a line of Lemon pieces that draw from historical furniture forms and restate them through material choice alone. Its hexagonal geometry recalls both the pedestal tradition and the geometric furniture movements of the 20th century, held together by the warmth of the burl veneer.

"There's often a tendency to romanticize the past, which I believe drives today's nostalgia", he explains. "While not everything was better before, certain classics stand the test of time and resonate across generations."
In a world increasingly marked by a sense of sameness in fashion, beauty, and design, Lemon turns away from trends. "We have no interest in looking at what's new for inspiration; doing so often results in just another version of something that already exists", Kevin reflects.
Lemon's creative process involves delving into archives: historical design, film, art, fashion, or anything that sparks inspiration. Sometimes, it's as simple as an old, beautiful photograph. From these influences, Lemon creates pieces that are a contemporary nod to the past. Each item is thoughtfully designed to be useful and needed, often inspired by objects they would love to own but cannot find elsewhere.
The result is elegantly simple pieces designed for everyday use and admiration. Each creation evokes nostalgia and romance while staying true to traditional craftsmanship, sitting naturally in contemporary spaces.
