The PAPARITMO three-seat sofa is the largest piece in Studio ASAÏ's debut furniture collection, bringing the formal language of the armchair to communal scale.
The elongated, low-profile silhouette draws attention to its armrests, which taper and angle outward in a gesture at once ergonomic and sculptural. The backrest is a slender cylinder spanning the full length of the sofa, providing support without mass. A small metallic accent on the outer left arm punctuates the composition.
Throughout, the sofa is upholstered in a ribbed beige textile, its vertical channelling creating a consistent textural field across cushions, arms, and back. The contrast between the upholstered volume above and the beechwood base below lends the piece visual lightness despite its scale.
Antoine Simonin, founder of STUDIO ASAÏ and AD 100-recognised designer, applies his interior architecture practice to furniture with the same rigour he brings to hotels and private residences. Available through Monde Singulier.

About
ASAÏ
Giving voice to the human spirit. Awakening the soul of a place. Writing novels, fictions, and novel fictions... like a series of bespoke self-portraits. Staying true to Saint-Exupéry's creed: « Let your dreams devour your life, so that life does not devour your dreams », STUDIO ASAÏ has, since 2014, conceived interior architecture as a living language. A language that is multifaceted, breaking free from repetition, bespoke, and tailored to each story, each adventure, each project encountered.
From his formative years with Andrée Putman and later with Jean-François Bodin, Antoine Simonin continually pushes boundaries, playing with conventions, challenging space and time, weaving improbable colour palettes with a deft touch, and spinning inspirations and references to distill an essence of non-style, neither retro nor futuristic. A non-style that moves closer to a dreamlike future, bold enough to embrace all possibilities... revealing the wonder around us and uncovering the hidden beauty that eludes us.
From the paramount importance of narrative to the pursuit of unadorned beauty. From private residences to luxury hotels, from furniture design to exhibition scenography, STUDIO ASAÏ redefines aesthetic singularity, balancing radicality and harmony, rawness and refinement, fantasy and reality, with equal parts humility and grace.
