Approach, design philosophy
According to Kim and Florent, every project is an exploration, an invitation to dream and imagine.
They draw their inspiration from dreams and the soul of the place, leaving plenty of room for imagination and the power of evocation (haddou-dufourcq.com).
Style
Studio Haddou-Dufourcq stands out for its timelessness.
Far from trends, they create spaces and objects that stand the test of time, while retaining their evocative power. They skilfully play with materials, textures, and colors to create unique atmospheres, often tinged with Mediterranean influences.
Main inspirations
Both designers draw from a blend of personal experiences and individual sensibilities.
- “We each come with our own story, our own desires, our own memories.”
This approach brings a personal dimension to each project, where every creation becomes a reflection of their intertwined stories and aspirations.
Their work is thus imbued with authenticity and emotion.
“Working with the craftsmen who make the pieces or objects is very fulfilling” (Florent Dufourcq).
“We love the work of Guy Baref, sculptor and lighting designer.” (Kim Haddou)
