Arcade
By Yellen Boisseau
About the collection
The Arcade collection by Yellen Boisseau draws its logic from the arch. Six pieces presented at Paris Design Week Factory 2025: a round coffee table with overlapping stone tops, a rectangular coffee table, a side table, a nightstand, a stool, and a bench. In each, the arch reappears as a structural element rather than surface ornament: open lateral panels, fluted front facades, carved relief on a bench leg.
Light beige natural stone tops and warm medium-brown solid wood run through all six pieces. The contrast between stone's cool density and the softer warmth of solid wood gives the collection a coherent visual register without uniformity.
Yellen Boisseau trained at Penninghen's school of interior architecture, graduating in 2021, and works between Paris and Barcelona on high-end residential projects. The Art Deco reference informing Arcade operates at the level of structure, not surface. She translates the style's characteristic geometry into the joinery itself: the arch holds the piece together rather than adorning it.
