Elsa Foulon Collection
By Elsa Foulon
About the collection
As with Diego Giacometti, the Swiss sculptor and designer, and his "geometry in the air," one might speak of a "rightness in the air" when referring to Elsa Foulon: the lines of her Antigone pieces fit seamlessly into space. They integrate without hiding, following the natural simplicity of atmospheric movement. Through a subtle play of density in her delicate plates, and the upward and downward flow of lines, the Antigone series appears to defy gravity.\n\nThis refined clarity runs through everything Elsa Foulon makes. The collection spans ceramic and textile lighting sculptures, wall sconces, pendants, and objects, including pieces such as Selene, Venus, Hera, Nerites, Achille, Orphee, Archi, Demoiselle, and Aphrodyte, each shaped by hand and fired in her Parisian atelier.
