About
Mathieu Delacroix
Mathieu Delacroix is a French designer based in Paris, working across object, furniture, and inte-rior design. A graduate of the École Supérieure d’Art et Design de Saint-Étienne (2016), he also studied at Nagoya City University in Japan—an experience that continues to deeply influence his design approach today. His early work was recognized with awards and international exhibitions, including Dubai Design Week, the Milan design weeks and PAD London. He also won First Prize in the Cinna Young Ta-lent competition for his Tasso vase series. Alongside collaborations with renowned studios such as Guillaume Delvigne, Frédéric Forest & Clémentine Giaconia, and RDAI, Mathieu develops an independent practice rooted in drawing, emotion, and material exploration. His design approach seeks to reconnect objects with lived experience, infusing everyday forms with sensitivity, clarity, and depth. Through ongoing collaborations with French and international companies, as well as design galleries, he explores the shifting boundaries between design and art. Engaged in an approach focused on the synergy between drawings and personal sensibilities, Delacroix's creations have been recognized through various media (press, web, radio) and have taken part in several exhibitions in France and around the world.
