The Park Nightstand in lacquered finish is an octagonal bedside cabinet from the Lemon Collection, rendered in light cream.
The octagonal form shares its geometry with the burl wood version of the Park, but the lacquered surface changes the reading entirely. Where the wood reads warm and organic, the cream finish is cool and architectural: the eight facets catch light evenly, giving the piece an almost ceramic quality.
A single flush door sits centered in the front panel, recessed slightly within its surrounding frame. The pull knob is understated, nearly invisible against the cream ground. Frankental reduces hardware to the minimum so the form itself carries the weight.
The Park Lacquered fits the Lemon ethos of pieces that don't announce themselves: furniture that earns attention quietly, from across the room. In cream lacquer, the same geometric logic that produces a warm organic object in burl becomes something cooler, more resolved, more insistently architectural.

"There's often a tendency to romanticize the past, which I believe drives today's nostalgia", he explains. "While not everything was better before, certain classics stand the test of time and resonate across generations."
In a world increasingly marked by a sense of sameness in fashion, beauty, and design, Lemon turns away from trends. "We have no interest in looking at what's new for inspiration; doing so often results in just another version of something that already exists", Kevin reflects.
Lemon's creative process involves delving into archives: historical design, film, art, fashion, or anything that sparks inspiration. Sometimes, it's as simple as an old, beautiful photograph. From these influences, Lemon creates pieces that are a contemporary nod to the past. Each item is thoughtfully designed to be useful and needed, often inspired by objects they would love to own but cannot find elsewhere.
The result is elegantly simple pieces designed for everyday use and admiration. Each creation evokes nostalgia and romance while staying true to traditional craftsmanship, sitting naturally in contemporary spaces.
