The Hong Kong Coffee Table is a marble table by GEOSTUDIO, part of the Fusion collection from the Istanbul interior design studio.
Cut from a single slab of dark marble, the table's top presents a dramatic surface of white, grey, and golden-brown veining. The stone's natural patterning gives each table a unique visual identity, with the veins pulling the eye across the flat surface. The table sits low, its proportions calibrated for a central position within a seating arrangement.
The two supporting legs are monolithic blocks of the same marble, their outer faces finished with vertical fluting. This fluted detail amplifies the stone's natural texture while introducing a sculptural register that goes beyond standard table construction. The entire piece carries the dark marble's weight without interruption, base to top.
The Hong Kong Coffee Table is the sole table in the Fusion collection, positioned as a counterpart to the collection's upholstered seating and offering a material contrast between stone, wood, and textile.

About
Geostudio
Founded in Istanbul in 2021 by Mahmut Anlar, Tuğçe Örtmen, and Sinan Bora Özışık, GEOSTUDIO works across residential interiors, retail environments, and boutique hotels. The studio’s approach brings functionality and visual coherence into close alignment, with each project developed through direct collaboration between the three founders and their clients.
Beyond commissioned interiors, the trio extends their practice to collectible furniture. The Fusion collection, comprising seating and table pieces named after European cities, reflects an interest in global visual dialogue translated through a distinctly Turkish sensibility. The Prague Chair, Vienna Sofa, and Kong Chair are proportioned for comfort and finished with material precision; the Hong Kong Coffee Table and Milan Armchair complete an ensemble suited to both residential and hospitality settings.
Istanbul’s position between European and Anatolian design traditions informs the studio’s material choices and spatial thinking without reducing their output to predictable cultural synthesis. GEOSTUDIO draws on that context productively, producing work that feels specific and grounded rather than derivative.
The studio’s collectible furniture is represented internationally by Monde Singulier. For collectors, interior designers, and specifiers drawn to the Istanbul design scene, the Fusion collection offers a direct line to contemporary Turkish furniture design that remains largely outside mainstream coverage.
