Rodez

The Rodez collection by Thomas Moisan is built around one material decision: lacquered black, applied across six pieces that complete an entire room.

The logic is architectural. Moisan draws every element from the same formal vocabulary (stepped metal frames, thick cylindrical legs, tiered geometric volumes) then lets light do the differentiation. A mirror with dark glass refracts differently than an ottoman's ribbed metal accent or a side table's high-gloss lacquer. The black is not flat; it shifts with each surface.

Rodez spans a mirror, console, coffee table, ottoman, armchair, and side table, combining metal, velvet, and lacquered surfaces in a monochrome interior. Each piece holds its own without explanation.

Available exclusively on Monde Singulier, Rodez is a limited-edition collection produced in collaboration with Parisian artisans.
