About the collection
The hexagon is the structural logic of Puro Tropical Legacy. With equal angles and sides, it is a shape that tiles without end, resolving into triangles and rhombuses. Geometry as pure as the brand name.
Mobília Puro, the São Paulo studio founded by architect Felipe Rezende and collector-critic Thales Polis, gives each piece in this collection a Brazilian natural landmark as its name. The sofa takes the São Francisco river, Brazil's longest. The armchair takes Carajás, a mountain range of ancient iron-rich rock. The Dois Irmãos coffee table references the twin peaks above Rio. Mantiqueira, Veadeiros, Aracá, Bandeira: the collection maps the country through objects.
Seating, tables, and a floor lamp are handcrafted by local Brazilian artisans in materials the landscape informs: dark tropical wood grain, natural woven fiber, boucle textile, live-edge slab, brindle hide.
Objects designed not for display. Designed to be used, and to remain.
