Infini
By Elisa Uberti
About the collection
The Infini collection draws on Constantin Brancusi's endless columns as its formal reference. Elisa Uberti developed the series in her Roubaix atelier using the coiling technique: stoneware built up coil by coil, without a wheel, following the rhythm of the hands.
The column form is central to the collection's logic. Each sculpture rises vertically, narrow and deliberate, with a surface that carries the visible trace of the making process. The gesture is slow; the result is anything but incidental.
Infini is an MS exclusive, represented on Monde Singulier by a single unique piece: Infini #3, a stoneware sculpture shaped by the same slow, hand-governed process that defines the series.
