About the collection
The Disderot Collection gathers reissued lighting from Ateliers Pierre Disderot, the French publisher behind some of the most recognized table, floor, and wall lamps of the 1950s to 1970s. Each piece is numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, produced in France to the original models' specifications.
The range spans two distinct design voices. Olivier Mourgue's 2093 series contributes floor lamps, table lamps, a pendant, and a wall sconce, each built around the designer's signature petal shades in chrome and white. The AR series by Janine Abraham and Dirk-Jan Rol brings a more architectural sensibility: dark walnut dovetail shades on steel poles, mixing warm wood with cool metal in a format closer to furniture than fixture.
Together the pieces trace the breadth of mid-century French lighting publishing, from sculptural Space Age forms to refined material craft.
