Cyprès
By Frédéric Imbert
About the collection
The Cyprès collection takes its name from the cypress trees of Morbihan, their monumental silhouettes translated into organic curves and grounded materiality. Three pieces make up the collection: a hand-sculpted sofa with carved dark wood legs, and two bookcases in brass and wood, each set on a rough hand-carved stone base.
All three are made by hand in Frédéric Imbert's Normandy atelier, using local wood alongside brass and stone. These materials contrast by nature and cohere by design. The sofa is available indoors and outdoors; the bookcases come in M and L formats.
Frédéric Imbert's studio, founded in Paris in 2019, bridges interior architecture, furniture, and scenography. His practice favours local materials, reuse-minded production, and a low-tech process.
