About the collection

Courbes Alléchantes ("Tempting Curves") is an exclusive collection of five pieces by Axel Chay, available only on Monde Singulier. Bench, chair, coffee table, floor lamp and ceiling lamp share one formal principle: aluminium tubes wrapped in chamois faux fur, turning sculptural curves warm and touchable.

Where Chay's usual output favours raw metal, this collection inverts the gesture. The industrial skeleton stays; only the surface changes, and that change shifts the register of every piece. Forms that read as architectural in steel become domestic and intimate in chamois. Each piece is handcrafted in the family atelier in Marseille by Axel, Melissa and Aimeric Chay.
