Collection 01

Collection 01 is the debut body of work from Studio Akademos, the Paris interior design studio recognized on AD 100. The collection draws from two distinct cultural moments: the golden age of Café Society, with its lavish receptions and glittering nightlife, and the avant-garde spirit of the late 1970s. These two eras share a language of sensual materials and narrative-driven form.

Six pieces make up the collection, each carrying a proper name from those storied periods: Ira, Scott, Gloria, Barbara, Elsa. The range spans consoles, sofas, a coffee table, a decorative box, and a liquor cabinet. Each piece is positioned as a character within a larger interior narrative.

Studio Akademos designed every object to answer a central question: what story does this piece tell? The result is a collection that functions as both furniture and set design, a complete vocabulary for a considered Parisian interior.
