About the collection
Antechamber is StudioDanielK's inaugural collection, introduced in 2023 by Daniel Kolodziejczak. The pieces share a preoccupation with how light and shadow claim space: geometric steel forms paired with translucent stone spheres, trading solidity for luminosity.
The collection takes its name literally. Like an architectural anteroom, it offers a first reading of Kolodziejczak's vocabulary before full immersion. Between radical purity and classical materials, each piece holds two opposing forces in suspension.
Pieces such as the Congresso floor lamp and the Joia floor lamp translate this tension into numbered editions, each combining architectural steel with honey calcite or honey onyx. The Joia freestanding mirror extends the same logic to reflection, pairing a sober steel frame with stone-sphere finials drawn from the language of jewellery.
