The name Additions refects its role as an extension of its predecessor designed to complement while introducing new creative forms. This collection is an intimate and personal one, not only in scale but also in the creative journey it represents. While maintaining the sculptural rigor that has become a hallmark of Atelier FM, the series invites a tactile and visual experience shifting focus to softer, more sensuous materials such as parchment and Australian pure virgin wool sablé infusing the pieces with a quiet femininity that balances their bold structural forms. Comprising of only three pieces, Additions is a celebration of materiality featuring the luxurious East Indian Laurel veneer, a complex and in this case, rare vintage material, as well as intricate upholstery work by the hands of master artisans. Each piece is part of a limited edition of 12 + 2 artist proofs, ensuring exclusivity and artistry in every detail. Additions represents a collaboration with new artisans whose unique strengths and techniques were pushed to their limits, resulting in pieces that celebrate tradition and innovation.
