The story
This stunning extra large coffee table is guaranteed to be the focus of attention when you entertain guests, and will make a fascinating centerpiece for your living room. Following the glamorous mid-century look of other classic Willy Rizzo designs, the gleaming whithe lacquered table is inset with an eye-catching chrome bar at it, with rounded corners, which creates a wonderfully radiant negative space in the surface of the piece. A very rare find in this extra large size, fully restored and relacquered, and in great vintage condition.
About Willy Rizzo
Italian photographer and designer Willy Rizzo (1928-2013) made his name at Paris Match photographing celebrities, then began designing furniture in the 1960s. His coffee tables, bar tables and consoles, in brass, chrome, lacquer and travertine, reflect the glamour of the 1970s and were produced by his own company and by Cidue. Collectors look for signed pieces, especially the bar tables with integrated storage.
