The story
A strategically sparse design with high quality materials gives this rare floor lamp all its appeal. Wrought iron has been gilded with gold leaf for a gentle warm golden patina throughout the entire structure. Designed by Parisian decorators and designers Roger and Robert Thibier, the piece has a lovely timeless aesthetic, typical of the French neoclassical/mid-century modern design. Its size makes it ideal as a decorative and functional piece in any living room or entrance, setting the tone for your entire home.
About Roger Thibier
French designer active in the 1960s known for furniture and lighting in wrought iron, often gilt. His nesting tables, side tables and lamps combine fine metal structures with glass or stone tops, in a decorative, neoclassically inspired style typical of French taste of the period. Collectors appreciate the quality of the ironwork and the graceful, light proportions of these pieces.
