Pia Manu is a workshop from Ingelmunster, Belgium where Jules Dewaele, and later his son Koen Dewaele worked during the 60’s until now, working with natural stone and ceramics. The created pieces show primitive shapes, enhanced by the use of rough materials such as bronze, copper, or slate. The minimalist approach makes its creations timeless. Their tables are rare and sought after.

About Pia Manu
Pia Manu was a Belgian artist known for coffee tables and side tables with ceramic mosaic tops, produced in the 1960s and 1970s. Each top is composed of glazed tiles arranged in abstract, geometric or organic patterns, set in metal or wooden frames. Many pieces are signed. Collectors look for tables with bold compositions, intact tiles and a visible signature, as the pieces are largely individual.
