A Swan chair from the limited edition Fritz Hansen produced in 2008 for the chair's 50th anniversary, in champagne leather. Arne Jacobsen designed the Swan in 1958 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen.

About Arne Jacobsen
Danish architect and designer (1902-1971) whose furniture defines Scandinavian modernism. For Fritz Hansen he created the Ant chair (1952) and the Series 7 (1955), then the Egg and Swan chairs for his SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (1958), along with lighting for Louis Poulsen. Collectors seek early editions with original leather or fabric, and pieces documented to the hotel, where every detail from cutlery to door handles was his.
